About the game

Van Run is a free arcade driving game that runs instantly in the browser, on phone or desktop. You're the driver of a solar-panelled electric van working a three-minute delivery shift in a neon seaside town. Pick up a parcel, race it to the drop-off before the clock runs down, then line up the next job — all while your battery quietly drains.

Keep moving and the town fights back. Scooter riders swarm the lanes — clip one and you lose points, skim past for a close-call bonus. Charging bays are sometimes duds, and sunlight on your roof panels is what tops the battery back up. Drift through corners with the space bar to bank a turbo boost, and if you go looking, there's a golden scooter hidden somewhere out over the water. Beat your best and your initials stick on the leaderboard.

Under the hood

HOW IT
WAS MADE.

01
One file, no engine
The whole game is a single self-contained HTML file — no game engine, no build step, no install. Open the page and it runs.
02
Real-time 3D with Three.js
The van, the seaside town, the bridges, water and all the neon are rendered live in WebGL using Three.js — light enough to hold a smooth frame rate on a phone.
03
Sound from code, not files
The synthwave soundtrack and every blip are generated on the fly with the Web Audio API. There are no audio files to download, so the game stays tiny and loads instantly.
04
HUD & arcade leaderboard
The speedo, battery gauge, minimap and score are HTML and CSS layered over the 3D canvas. Top scores are saved straight to your browser with a classic three-letter initials board.
05
Vibe-coded & shipped
Designed, built and tuned AI-assisted in days, then deployed to its own URL on Vercel — idea to playable, exactly the Vibechine way.
