Robo Rumble

Vintage tin robots slug it out — and battery is the weapon.

About the game

Robo Rumble is a free browser fighting game with an idea most brawlers don't have: your attacks drain your battery. Throw punches and you spend charge. Spend it all and your robot powers down where it stands, which is exactly as bad as it sounds.

Refilling means standing still on your charge pad for a full second — a second in which you are not defending, not moving, and entirely available to be hit. That single rule turns a button-masher into something closer to a negotiation. Do you press the advantage while your opponent is topping up, or back off and charge yourself?

The look is 1980s wind-up toy: two tin robots on a scuffed wooden floor, chunky pixels and heavy metal clanks. Pick your robot's colour, hit Enter and go. Free, in the browser, no install and no account.

How to play

SPEND IT
WISELY.

01
Battery is the whole game
Every attack costs charge. The heavy and the special cost most. Managing the meter matters more than landing the flashiest move — a full battery beats a clever combo.
02
Charging leaves you open
Standing on your pad for a second refills you, but you are stationary and undefended the whole time. Pick your moment, or get punished for it.
03
Guard costs nothing
Blocking doesn't drain you, so a patient defensive robot can wait out an opponent who has emptied themselves attacking. Aggression has a bill attached.
04
Zero battery, zero robot
Hit empty and you power down. There is no slow decline to manage — it is a hard floor, and the fight can end because you overspent rather than because you were outfought.
